1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you sign in, place an order, contact us, or use the store. This may include your name, email address, Google account identifier and profile image, phone number, delivery address, cart contents, order details, and messages sent to us.
We may also receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser information, request logs, cookie identifiers, and information needed to keep the website secure and operational.
2. How we use information
- Authenticate your account and maintain your session.
- Save and merge carts, process orders, arrange delivery, and provide order history.
- Communicate about orders, enquiries, refunds, cancellations, and support.
- Manage products, inventory, fraud prevention, security, and website performance.
- Meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
3. Google Sign-In
When you choose Google Sign-In, Google provides an identity credential. We verify it and use the resulting account information to create or update your Hennex Farm account. Your Google password is never provided to us.
4. Cookies and sessions
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to identify your shopping cart. Authentication cookies are marked HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax. Disabling essential cookies may prevent cart, sign-in, checkout, and order-history features from working.
5. Service providers and sharing
We share information only when needed to operate the store, fulfil an order, comply with law, or protect our rights. Our service providers may include Cloudflare for website hosting, database and image storage; Google for sign-in; Formspree for homepage enquiries; and delivery or payment providers used for your order. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Storage, retention, and security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information. We retain account, order, and transaction records for as long as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting requirements. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Some order and transaction records may need to be retained for legal purposes.
8. Children
The store is not intended for children to make purchases without the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or service changes. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published.
